How To Open A Fund

You may open any of the following funds merely with a phone call or visit to Community Foundation.

Donor Advised Fund Through a donor advised fund, a donor may refer requests to us, give anonymously, or recommend grants to certain charities.

 
Designated Fund A donor may specify a certain charity or charities to receive distributions from a designated fund.

 
Unrestricted Fund The donor may elect for the Foundation Board of Directors to allocate funds based on community needs.

 
Field of Interest Fund The donor may specify that funds be used for a particular field of service, i.e. youth services, health, etc.

 
Scholarship Fund Provides scholarship funds for higher education.
Other choices of funds include charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and supporting organizations.
