Scholarships

The Community Foundation of North Texas is a proud home to 16 scholarship funds for students in Hunt, Somervell, and Tarrant counties in Texas, as well as various collegiate programs.

The Community Foundation also hosts one scholarship for teachers, the Ione Buckner McAlister FWISD Teachers Project, which awards one math teacher and one science teacher each a grant to develop either a math or science project or a series of lessons to improve math or science instruction in his/her classroom.

During the 2009-2010 academic year, the Community Foundation was able to award $244,172.53 in scholarships due to the diligence of appointed committees and the generosity of our community.
