ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 
The Community Foundation of North Texas ToolBox Grants are available to midsize 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that serve Tarrant County. Eligibility is based on total expenses from the organization's latest filed Form 990 (Part I, Line 18). If part of a national organization, local agency must file their own Form 990 separate from its parent organization.
Due to funding limitations, education, environmental, animal rescue, churches and governmental organizations are not eligible to apply for this grant cycle.
Is Your Nonprofit Eligible?
1) Are you a 501(c)(3) organization?
2) Do you operate primarily in Tarrant County?
3) Are you a midsize health and human services
organization OR a midsize arts and culture organization?
a. Health & Human Services:
Operating budget between $1 million and $5 million.
If part of a national organization, local agency must file its own
Form 990 separate from its parent organization.
b. Arts & Culture:
Operating budget between $250,000 and $5 million
If part of a national organization, local agency must file its own
Form 990 separate from its parent organization.
OR
Program operating budget between $250,000 and $5 million within a
larger arts & culture organization that is clearly defined from the
organization's other programs.
